The AI Readiness Audit

Illustrative chart representing operational efficiency improvements and opportunity mapping generated from a business AI Readiness Audit

Find out exactly where AI agents and automation belong in your business.

In 10 business days, fixed price, no software pitch at the end.

30 minutes. No obligation.

Built and run personally by Amin Ali, the engineer behind Softosmith. Five years building the AI agents, automation pipelines, and custom systems that other consultants only point at on a slide.

You Do Not Have an AI Problem

You have a "what do I actually do first" problem.

Everyone on your team has opinions about AI right now. Someone wants to try a chatbot. Someone read about agents replacing a whole department. Someone is quietly worried the business is falling behind and nobody can say exactly how.

Meanwhile here is what is actually happening most weeks:

  • Software gets bought before anyone maps which process it is supposed to fix
  • The same three people debate ChatGPT versus a custom AI agent for the third month in a row, with no decision
  • Real hours disappear every week into manual work an automation could finish before lunch
  • Nobody wants to be the one who picked the wrong tool and has to explain it later

The AI Readiness Audit replaces all of that guessing with a 10 day diagnostic and a plan you can actually hand to your team on day 11.

What You Actually Walk Away With

Five concrete deliverables. Not a deck full of logos and arrows.

Days 1 and 2, The Operations Snapshot

A direct conversation with you and your key people. We pin down your top time wasters, your most error prone processes, and the quick wins that are already sitting in plain sight.

You get a one page snapshot naming the time wasters, the error prone steps, and the hours that are realistically recoverable.

Days 3 to 6, Workflow Maps and Cost Model

We take your three to five highest friction workflows and map them step by step. Every stall point flagged. Every bottleneck priced in actual dollars.

You get workflow maps with the pain points marked, what the current manual version costs you a year, and what that number looks like once an AI agent or automation handles it.

Days 7 and 8, Stack and Competitor Scan

What is already available off the shelf for your exact situation. What your competitors are already doing with AI. Where you are behind, and where you could actually leapfrog them in a quarter.

You get a two page scan covering existing tools, rough pricing, and the gaps worth caring about.

Day 9, The Prioritized Opportunity List

Every opportunity we found gets scored on Impact, Effort, and Readiness. Ranked. Sequenced. With a rough budget and expected payback attached to each one.

You get this as a working spreadsheet you own outright, not a locked PDF.

Day 10, The Action Plan

A document built for whoever signs the checks. A 30 day sprint, a 90 day roadmap, a 12 month direction, budget ranges, and how you will know it worked.

You get a 3 to 5 page plan your team can start executing on day 11.

Why This Audit Is Built Differently

An engineer runs it, not a strategist reading a framework. Most audits are delivered by people who advise on AI and have never shipped an agent, a RAG pipeline, or an automation that touched real production data. This one is run by the person who builds those systems for a living. When the plan says "this is buildable in three weeks," that estimate comes from someone who has actually built the equivalent.

Fixed price, not hourly. $2,500. One number. No scope creep, no surprise invoice halfway through week two.

You own the output, no matter what you do next. The spreadsheet and the plan are yours. Take them to any developer, any agency, or back to Softosmith. Nobody is locking you into a follow on contract to get value from the audit itself.

Founding client pricing. This audit is newly productized and capacity is capped on purpose, three businesses a month, so each one gets full attention instead of a templated report with your logo swapped in.

The Math on Waiting

Picture a team spending even 8 hours a week on work that could realistically be handled by a well built automation or AI agent. That is over 400 hours a year, every year, on autopilot work nobody enjoys and nobody is measuring.

Industry researchers including Gartner have warned that a large share of AI projects get abandoned within their first year, and the most common reason is not the technology itself. It is starting without a clear picture of which process to target and whether the underlying data even supports it. That is precisely the failure mode this audit exists to prevent.

The real question is not whether $2,500 and 10 days fits your budget. It is what another year of manual workarounds and unfinished AI debates is already costing you, whether anyone in the business has written that number down yet.

How It Works

Step 1, Discovery Call. 30 minutes, free. We talk about your business and whether this audit is actually the right move for you right now. If it is not, you will hear that directly, no pitch.

Step 2, The Audit. 10 business days, $2,500 fixed. Your side commits roughly 8 to 10 hours total across the two weeks, spread across 2 to 4 people. The heavy lifting is on us.

Step 3, Execute. Day 11 onward, you run the plan. If you would rather have Softosmith build what the plan recommends, that work is scoped and billed separately at $60 per hour, typically landing between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on complexity. The audit stands on its own either way.

Is This Audit For You

A good fit if:

  • You run a small business in the US, UK, UAE, or Australia with roughly 3 to 75 employees and have a real decision pending about where AI fits
  • You have already tried a tool or two and could not tell whether it actually moved the needle
  • You want a sequenced plan with real budget numbers, not another vendor demo
  • You can commit 2 to 4 people for a few hours of conversation across two weeks

Discovery calls and working sessions are scheduled around EST, GMT, GST, and AEST business hours, so the audit fits your week, not ours.

Probably not a fit if:

  • You are a solo operator where the audit overhead costs more than the manual work it would replace
  • You already have a finished AI strategy and only need someone to build it, in that case ask about a direct build engagement instead
  • You are looking for a free strategy session disguised as a sales call, this is a paid diagnostic with real deliverables
  • Nobody on your side can spare even a few hours of input over two weeks

Ten Business Days From Today, You Will Have A Plan

Or you can spend another quarter debating it in a group chat. Your call.

$2,500 fixed · 30 minute call · No obligation

Got questions? We've got straight answers!

$2,500, fixed. No hourly billing, no add on fees that show up later.

10 business days from kickoff to the final Action Plan in your inbox.

2 to 4 people works best. Ideally the owner or a senior decision maker, whoever runs day to day operations, and anyone closest to your existing tools or systems.

Roughly 8 to 10 hours total, spread across the two weeks. Most of the work happens on our end.

A one page Operations Snapshot, Workflow Maps with a cost model, a Stack and Competitor Scan, a Prioritized Opportunity List as an editable spreadsheet, and a 3 to 5 page Action Plan covering 30, 90, and 365 days.

Often that is exactly when it matters most. Most businesses that "tried AI" pointed it at the wrong process. The audit's job is finding the right one, and showing whether your current tools are even the right fit for it.

Yes, billed separately at $60 per hour and scoped to the specific recommendation. You are never required to use Softosmith for the build. Take the plan anywhere you like.

Book the free 30 minute discovery call. If it is a fit, the audit can usually begin within two weeks.
